I met awesome people..

Being an exchange student is awesome.. You can get lot of experiences, friends, new things that u ever know or did before, and meet awesome people.
Some people thing that we came here just for have fun, but for me "mm, not really"..
But at first, I thought so, but time by time past, I change my mind..

First Month:
I tried to adapt with the language, family and school. It not just like magic, it's take time to learn. I speak english since before I came here, but even though I know english good enough back home, it's still different. Back home, you just learn and speak english at class or special even, but here you should speak english all the time, everybody talk in english and of course their accents are different with my friends in my country. It's like you watch movie and you step up into it. Wonderful. The first 2 weeks, I still found difficulty to understood what people say and how to say some word. But I was not give up, I tried. If I didn't understand what they say, I would asked "I'm Sorry, can you repeat it?" or if I didn't understand couple words i would ask "mm, what is that mean?" Sometimes they also didn't understand what i was saying. But that's normal. I came from different country which is not speaking english. So they tried to understand me, so did I. They tried to slow down when they spoke to me and I also try to understand better and pronounce the words better.
Anyway, let's talk about school..
Here I went to Northeast Magnet High School, that's one of public schools in my city. It's not that big, but I love it.. There are about six hundred students. I am in senior class. That's really fun could have experience as American High School Student. My school has block system class,  so we just take 4 classes each semester. For first semester I took Biology 2, US Government, Photography, and US History; then for second semester I took Forensic Science, Digital Production, Anatomy and Physiology and English 3. I am in Science Magnet, but I didn't take Math..lol
For me, study here is better than in Indonesia cause we focus in several subjects that we interesting in. And we do not need to take National Examination to graduate. It's easier here.
We also get progress report every friday, so we can see how far we understand about our lesson.
